SIKESTON - Larry C. Pool, 68, died Sept. 7, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Nov. 4, 1935, in Sikeston, son of Lela May Noyes McElroy of Sikeston and the late William Clyde Pool, he served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors in addition to his mother include: one daughter, Pamela Ann Morrow of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Clarence N. Pool of Sikeston; one stepsister, Patricia Ann Happy of Wappapello; four grandsons, Blaine Marrow of Las Vegas, Nev., and Nathan Morrow, Eddie Morrow and Fabian Morrow of Bakersfield; three granddaughters, Jennifer Walter of Anaheim, Calif., and Patrice Marrow and Katelyn Morrow of Bakersfield; two nephews, Mark Pool of Southaven, Miss., and Scott Pool of Boemie, Texas; and his stepmother, Betty Pool of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Walter.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Tom Bass, former pastor of the church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with full military rites.
