Dorothy High

OVERLAND - Dorothy Johnson High, 72, formerly of Dorena, died at 6:45 a.m. Dec. 6, 2003, at her daughter's home in Eatonville, Wash.

Born Jan. 29, 1931, at Dorena, daughter of the late Garland and Rosey Walker Johnson, she was of the Protestant belief.

Survivors include: one daughter, Connie Boettcher of Eatonville; one son, Michael Carl High Jr. of St. Peters; one brother, Shirley Johnson of St. Louis; three sisters, Christine Johnson of California, Frances Johnson of O'Fallon and Velma Ogle of St. Louis; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Three brothers preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with the Rev. Jim Quist officiating.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
