Michael Jennings

BERNIE - Michael Ray Jennings, 49, died Dec. 8, 2003, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.

Born April 27, 1954, in Dexter, son of Charlie E. Jennings of Dexter and the late Jewel Sandusty Tryon, he was a farmer and member of the Powe Gospel Church at Powe, where he served as a board member. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

On Oct. 5, 1993, at Piggott, Ark., he married Patricia Ann Armbruster who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and father include: two sons, Michael Ray Jennings II of St. Louis and Alexander Eugene Jennings of Bernie; one daughter, Ashley Evelyn Jennings of Bernie; one stepson, Derek Fuemmeler of Harviell; his stepmother, Doris Jennings of Dexter; one brother, Randy Eugene Jennings of Bernie; one sister, Connie Sue Jennings of Tucson, Ariz.; one half sister, Darla McIver of Barnhart; and one grandchild, Makayla Jennings of Doniphan.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Ivan Mekan will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery at rural Dexter.
