Alfred Westrich
KELSO - Alfred F. Westrich, 81, died Sept. 7, 2001, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 5, 1920, at Chaffee, son of the late Albert John and Estella Enderle Westrich, he was a retired farmer.
On June 4, 1946, in Kelso, he married Hermina H. Bles who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Charles Westrich of Cape Girardeau, Kenneth Westrich of Scott City and Vernon Westrich of Terre Haute, Ind.; three daughters, JoAnn Henley of Kelso, Georgia Ross of Benton and Angela Bader of Chesterfield; one brother, Chester Westrich of Grey Eagle, Minn.; three sisters, Marie LeGrand of Sebring, Fla., Vera Redfern of Chaffee and Alma Heisserer of Cape Girardeau; and 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where a rosary service is scheduled for 7 p.m., followed by a Knights of Columbus service at 7:15 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery.
