Virginia Wolfe
LILBOURN - Virginia Wolfe, 76, died Nov. 22, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born April 7, 1928, in Caruthersville, daughter of the late Ernest and Willa Mae Brown Bullington Sr., she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lilbourn.
In February 1947, she married Louie Wolfe, who preceded her in death on Sept. 5, 1983.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Larry Wolfe and Jerry Wolfe; and four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include: one son, Dennis Wolfe of New Madrid; three daughters, Barbara Allgier of Portageville, Devonna May of New Madrid and Suzanne Bates of Lilbourn; two brothers, Clarence Bullington and Felix Bullington of Caruthersville; one sister, Cecil Mae Hunt of Louisville, Ky.; and 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday.
The Rev. Travis Lambert, pastor of First General Baptist Church in Lilbourn, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
