Danny Stacy
SIKESTON - Danny Ray Stacy, 40, died at 5:22 p.m. Aug. 26, 2001, at his home following an extended illness.
Born June 7, 1961, at Sikeston, son of Jean and Gorman Hartlein of Sikeston and Reggie and Elaine Corlew of Dallas, Texas, he graduated from Sikeston High School in 1980.
Employed by Rowe Manufacturing in Morehouse for several years, he was a volunteer fireman for the Morehouse Fire Department until ill health forced him to retire.
Survivors in addition to his parents are: two brothers, Larry Miller and Kenny Hartlein of Sikeston; three sisters, Betty Staggs and Carolyn Hartlein of Sikeston and Gorma Hartlein of Nashville, Tenn.; three aunts and uncles, Jan and Junior Davis and Sonny Hodges of Sikeston and Carolyn and Charles McArnold of Arkansas; two uncles and aunts, Dean and Lynn Stroud of Jackson and Bill and Kim Humphrey of Pocahontas, Ark.; his paternal grandmother, Naomi Corlew of Morehouse; and several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Earl Corlew; and his maternal grandparents, Clarence Stroud and Dorothy and Red Humphrey.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Matthews Cemetery with the Rev. Rodney Dunlap officiating.
