Landis Williams

BENTON - Landis Ray Williams, 41, died Aug. 27, 2001, at his home.

Born March 29, 1960, in Cairo, Ill., son of Maloy Landis and June Ann Martin Williams of Benton, he was an assembly line worker for Valley Trailer Products in Sikeston and attended Unity Baptist Church in Benton.

On Sept. 12, 1992, at Commerce, he married Rose Marie Hurt who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include: two daughters, Heather Williams and Alisha Williams of the home; and two sisters, Diane Brown of Benton and Janet Noisworthy of Charleston.

Friends may call from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Dennis Lowe, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Unity Baptist Cemetery.
