Betty Volner

SIKESTON - Betty L. Brown Volner, 69, of Sikeston and Miller City, Ill., died at 4 p.m. Sept. 7, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Oct. 2, 1931, in Miller City, daughter of the late Vegie D. and Velma Louise Hornberger Brown, she had been a secretary for the highway department.

In 1952, she married Bill Volner who survives of the home. She is also survived by cousins.

Services were conducted Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., with the Rev. Larry Buckles, officiating.

Burial followed in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.
