SIKESTON - Bobbie Jean White, 67, died at 1:23 a.m. Sept. 11, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Aug. 26, 1934, in Dell, Ark., daughter of the late Homer Lee and Blanche Anna Pate King Sr., she graduated from Grayridge High School and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was director of the Heritage House Nutrition Program in Sikeston for 25 years.

On Aug. 27, 1960, in Illmo, she married Dale White Sr. who preceded her in death on May 8, 1994.

Survivors include: one son, Dennis White of Riverview, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Debbie Stallings of Alton; three brothers, L.E. King of Morehouse, Homer King Jr. of Morley and Walter King of Sikeston; two sisters, Syble Bogle of Aurora, Ill., and Hope Young of Blytheville, Ark.; and eight grandchildren.

One son and one brother also preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Tom Geers, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow Garden of Memories Cemetery.
