DEXTER - Juanita Welty, 76, died Nov. 28, 2004, at her home.
Born May 5, 1928, in Russellville, Ark., daughter of the late Charles and Jewell Baker Harris, she was raised in Arkansas and lived in Dexter all her adult life. A member of Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter, she was a press operator for Elder Manufacturing for 44 years before retiring.
On Feb. 12, 1948, in Dexter, she married Lester Cleo England who preceded her in death on June 29, 1977.
Survivors include: one daughter, Rhonda Martinek of Como, Tenn.; two sons, Garry England and Ronnie England of Dexter; one brother, Hancel Harris of Lawton, Okla.; one sister, Lula Mae Hensley of Collinsville, Ill.; and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Allan Cleo England on Nov. 18, 2004; and one granddaughter, Susan Yvonne Hunt.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday. Shane Mallard of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
