Dorothy Williams

CHARLESTON - Dorothy M. Williams, 73, died Nov. 21, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 24, 1929, in rural Charleston daughter of the late Willie and Ethel Jordan Gray, she lived in Chicago, Ill., for more than 40 years.

On Aug. 19, 1948, she married Kasel Williams who preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1998.

Survivors include: one son, Kasel Williams of Charleston; one godson, Isaiah Spikes of Chicago; and an uncle, Russell Davis of Ullin, Ill.

One brother also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston with Elder Steve Betts officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
