Troy Childers

KENNETT - Troy Childers, 57, died Nov. 27, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center.

Born March 30, 1946, at Ashland, Miss., he was the son of Rosie Tucker Childers of Paragould, Ark., and the late Marlin Childers.

He married Glenda Childers who survives of Sikeston.

Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Bobby Cantrell of Portageville and Anna and Larry Graham of Sikeston; one sister, Doris Jones of Paragould; and four grandchildren, Kevin Cantrell, William Cantrell, Cody Cantrell and Rebecca Cantrell.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, James Childers.

Services were held Nov. 29 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett with the Rev. Lonnie Mittag officiating.

Burial followed in the Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Ark.

Pallbearers were: Benny Payne, Mike Huckleberry, Darion Long, Wayne Treat, Steve Childers and Jeffery Childers.
