CHARLESTON - Callie Stampley, 81, died May 5, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 25, 1918, in Woodland, Miss., daughter of the late Vollie and Mina Jones Walker, she was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include: four sons, Thurber Stampley of Oak Park, Ill., Roland Stampley of Oklahoma City, Okla., Terry Stampley of Charleston and Ruben Stampley of Bethany, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Williams Funeral Home in Charleston.
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at Perry Chapel AME Church with the Rev. J.L. Posey officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
