Willie Kelso
MATTHEWS - Willie Mae Kelso, 83, died at 12:10 p.m. Dec. 30, 2003, at Sells Rest Home.
Born April 5, 1920, in Tupelo, Miss., daughter of the late Otis and Sarah Hall Raper, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Madrid.
On Nov. 27, 1937, at Kaiser, Ark., she married Rebel D. Kelso who preceded her in death on April 1, 1993.
Also preceding her in death were: one son, Bob Kelso; one daughter, Carolyn Kelso; one grandson, Dwayne Kelso; and one brother and one sister.
Survivors include: one son and two daughters-in-law, Harvey and Becky Kelso of Matthews and Gloria Kelso of Sikeston; one brother, Boyd Raper of Sikeston; one sister, Dolly Littleton of Sikeston; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gene Lancaster, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Risco will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Andy Akins, Drew Akins, Shannon Hann, Patrick Day, Scott Spraggs and Scott Bewley.
