Virginia Finn

BLOOMFIELD - Virginia Rose Finn, 82, died Jan. 2, 2004, at the Advance Nursing Center.

Born March 18, 1921, in Williamsville, daughter of the late Roy Haynie Sr. and Pearl McGee, she was a member of Care Spring Baptist Church in St. Peters.

On July 27, 1940, at Kennett, she married Alvin Finn who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, James A. Finn of Ellsinore, Ronald M. Finn of Marble Hill and John T. Finn of DeSoto; one daughter, Jeanne Handley of New Johnson, Tenn.; three brothers, Roy Haynie Jr. and Mack Haynie of Advance and James Haynie of Alpharetta, Ga.; one sister, Dorothy Hill of Hazelwood; and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Three brothers also preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with the Rev. Bill Sargent officiating.

Burial will follow in the McGee New Hope Cemetery at McGee.
