BERTRAND - Nola Cordelia Hill, 102, died at 3 a.m. Dec. 22, 2003, in Bertrand.
Born Sept. 8, 1901, at Poyner, daughter of the late Dr. George W. and Susan Mahalia Charity Spencer Belcher, she had lived in Mississippi and Scott counties most of her life.
On Oct. 19, 1919, she married David Leroy Hill who preceded her in death on June 12, 1952.
Survivors include: two daughters, Christian Mahalia McMillen of Charleston and Sueffie Elizabeth Pemberton of Bertrand; and 21 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, 76 great-great-grandchildren and five great-great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were three sisters, two brothers, three half sisters, one half brother and five grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. Friday until service time at 2 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Bill Bradley will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: Jamie Call, Mike Call, Dale Banks, Terry Banks, David Pemberton and Doug Pemberton.
