Betty Westrich

NEW HAMBURG - Betty June Westrich, 77, died at 9:25 p.m. March 16, 2002, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born Jan. 4, 1925, in Pasadena, Calif., daughter of the late Frank Henery and Ethel May Fusselman Walker, she was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Ann's Sodality in New Hamburg and the New Hamburg Homemakers.

On Feb. 27, 1943, at Ontario, Calif., she married Michael Emmanuel Westrich who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Michael K. Westrich of New Hamburg and Richard L. Westrich of Upland, Calif.; two sisters, Mildred Miller of Upland and Connie Lewis of Fayetteville, Ark.; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, where parish prayers are scheduled for 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Michael K. Westrich, Richard L. Westrich, Jason Westrich, Matthew Westrich, Derek Welter and Mike Dirnberger.
