Elmer Clark
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Elmer E. Clark, 88, died April 7, 2002, at his home.
Born June 19, 1913, in Myrtle, Mo., son of the late Barney and Katie Michael Clark, he lived in California before moving to Fayetteville 23 years ago. He was a retired carpenter.
On March 6, 1943, at Morehouse, he married Doris Loraine Lawson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, James E. Clark of Pickney, Mich., Ronnie George Clark of Fayetteville and Michael Lynn Clark of Bremerton, Wash.; one daughter, Joyce Marie Hodges of Oxnard, Calif.; one sister, Georgia Welch of Grants Pass, Ore.; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Doyle Corlew of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
