Imogene Glass

BERNIE - Imogene B. Glass, 83, died March 16, 2004, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.

Born Aug. 29, 1920, in Jonesboro, Ark., daughter of the late Joseph Walker and Bertha Ola Burton Henry, she was a member of the Bernie Missionary Alliance Church.

On Dec. 15, 1937, at Bloomfield, she married Dawsey Richard Glass who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Carlyn Glass of Knoxville, Tenn.; one sister, Lois Robinson of Wichita, Kan.; and nine grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Glass and Joe Glass; and one brother and one sister.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Cletus Patterson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
