Emma Cobb

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. - Emma Lou Cobb, 77, formerly of Chaffee, Mo., died Feb. 27, 2002, at her home.

Born Oct. 21, 1924, in Poplar Bluff, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo S. and Garnett Still Perdue.

On May 6, 1940, at Oran, Mo., she married Gilbert Cobb who preceded her in death.

Four children also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: six sons, James Cobb of Oakland, Tenn., Bill Cobb of Missouri, Joe Cobb of Kentucky, Daniel Cobb of Dexter, Mo., Gerald Cobb of Edwardsville, Ill., and David Cobb of Horn Lake, Miss.; four daughters, Margaret Stroup of Dexter, Mo., Lorine Gernan of Bethalto, Ill., Anna Pratt of Mountain Home and Sheri Nizinski of Roxana, Ill.; two sisters, Wanda Hill of Collinsville, Ill., and Jessie Rossi of Westborough, Mo.; and 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday with Shawn Garrett officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.
