Ruby Brothers
MATTHEWS - Ruby Loutene Brothers, 72, died at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 20, 2002, at the Bertrand Nursing Facility.
Born July 22, 1930, in Vernon, Ala., daughter of the late William S. and Lunie G. Woods White, she was of the Pentecostal belief.
On Nov. 11, 1961, in Charleston, she married Cletus R. Brothers who preceded her in death on March 17, 1995.
Survivors include: two sons, James D. Terry of Canalou and David J. Terry of Matthews; one daughter, Monica L. Tidwell of Sikeston; one brother, Danny White of Blytheville, Ark.; six sisters, Peggy J. Bickford of Diehlstadt, Carolyn Sue Sanderson of Osceola, Ark., Audrey Stegall of Pontotoc, Miss., Faye Armstrong and Adell Sanders of Colona, Ill., and Helen Davis of Arnold; and 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
One brother, two sisters and two grandchildren also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Bob Herring, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Bertrand, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery at Lepanto, Ark.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Newton, Johnny Sauceda, Willie Brewer, George McWhirter, Arnold McWhirter and Tony Chism.
Honorary pallbearers will be: James Terry Jr., David Terry Jr., Mike McWhirter, Jimmy Fowler Jr. and Dalton Gean.
