Adams - Ruff

SIKESTON - Makenze B. Adams and Paul Ruff exchanged wedding vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony Feb. 14, 2002, at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church before Elder Cecil Adams.

The new Mrs. Ruff is the daughter of Gary and Barbara Adams of Sikeston and her husband is the son of Marvin Ruff of Sikeston and the late Carolyn Ruff.

The bride was escorted by her father and Shelley Helmes of Sikeston was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Adams, Shannon Adams and Heather Graham of Sikeston and Bobbie Donaldson of Charleston. Sydney Helmes of Sikeston was flower girl.

Brian Godair of Jackson was best man and groomsmen were Joey Adams and Mike Adams of Sikeston and Michael Shumer and John Bening of Jackson. Ring bearer was Paul Ruff II of Sikeston.

Clinton Helmes of Sikeston and Shawn Sladek of Chaffee served as candlelighters.

A reception followed the ceremony in the church reception hall.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Smokey Mountains, the couple is making their home in Sikeston.
