ORAN -- Ethel Rosalia Schlosser, 81, died at 3:40 p.m. May 23, 2002, at the Monticello House in Jackson.

Born Jan. 25, 1921, in Oran, daughter of the late Frank Lawrence and Sophia Goetz Heisserer, she was a homemaker and a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran and the St. Ann Sodality.

On Aug. 25, 1945, she married Alfred H. Schlosser who preceded her in death on April 2, 1998.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Tammy Schlosser of Herington, Kan., and Tom and Patty Schlosser of Jackson; two brothers, Cornelius Heisserer of Chaffee and George Heisserer of Creve Coeur; one sister, Viola Dannenmueller of St. Louis; and four grandchildren, K'Tina Kuenzi of Littleton, Colo., Cody Schlosser, Kyle Schlosser and Kati Schlosser of Jackson; and one great-granddaughter, Brenna Kuenzi of Littleton.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where a prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.

Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.
