John Gee
PARMA - John Junior Gee, 79, died Oct. 18, 2002, at his home.
Born Oct. 7, 1923 at Parma, son of the late Lum and Eva Jenkins Gee, he graduated from Parma High School and lived in Parma until 1941, when he entered the Navy and served during World War II. In 1946, he moved to Colorado where he served as a hearing commission judge. Returning to Parma in 1980, he served as an alderman, city marshal and as a municipal judge for the cities of Parma, Risco, Gideon, Tallapoosa and Matthews. He was affiliated with the Baptist church.
On April 12, 1947, in Denver, Colo., he married M. Lorraine Miller, who survives of Parma.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Parma Cemetery with the Rev. John Girdley of Parma officiating.
Burial will follow in the Parma Cemetery.
