Tony Varble

AQUILLA - Tony Ray Varble, 67, died Oct. 18, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Sept. 23, 1935, in Malden, son of the late Ralph and Annetta Williams Varble, he was a 1953 graduate of Bloomfield High School and retired from Arvin Automotive in Dexter.

On Aug. 17, 1957, he married Velva Pry who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanne and Keith Francis of Ozark and Debbie and Dennis Avery of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Paul Varble of Arnold; one sister, Betty Koetting of Leora; and four grandsons.

Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Glen Ray Epps III officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield.
