BENTON - Iva Mae Laub, 70, died at 6:56 p.m. May 1, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Sept. 30, 1931, at Sikeston, daughter of the late William Lee Bohannon Sr. and Iva Mae Gray, she was a licensed practical nurse. A volunteer Pink Lady for St. Francis Medical Center, she especially took pleasure in cooking for her family and playing her piano.

On April 13, 1948, at Kewanee, she married William Harold Laub who survives of the home in Benton.

Also surviving are: three daughters, Kimberly Laub of Sikeston, LaDonna Laub of Cape Girardeau and Janice Keith of Jackson; seven brothers, William Bohannon Jr. and Clayton Bohannon of Sikeston, Don Bohannon of Kenner, La., J.L. Bohannon of St. Louis, Roy Gene Bohannon of Decatur, Ill., Larry Bohannon of Lebanon, Ohio, and the Rev. Dr. Glen Bohannon of Wilmington, N.C.; two sisters, Mable Merrick of Sikeston and Dorothy Moore of Hartford, Ill.; three grandsons, Quinton and Mason Boardman of Sikeston and Kevin Keith of Jackson; and one granddaughter, Heather Sparks of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by one son, Lanny Joe Laub; two brothers, John Bohannon and Gerald Bohannon; and one sister, Norma Pratt.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dr. Glen Bohannon officiating.

Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at Morley.
