SIKESTON - Seven people were arrested Friday on crack cocaine charges, according to the Department of Public Safety. Byron Howard, 30, Allen Howard, 42, and Joe Lee Hatchet, 42, were arrested at approximately 11:30 p.m. when a search warrant was served at 123 South Stoddard. SIKESTON - Seven people were arrested Friday on crack cocaine charges, according to the Department of Public Safety.

Byron Howard, 30, Allen Howard, 42, and Joe Lee Hatchet, 42, were arrested at approximately 11:30 p.m. when a search warrant was served at 123 South Stoddard. The arrests were a culmination of a month-long investigation in a section of government housing by the Sikeston DPS narcotics division.

At about the same time, Roshel Brown, 21, Larry Marshall, 48, Angela Farrow, 25, and Tamra White, 41, were arrested when DPS officers stopped a vehicle seen leaving the area of the search warrant as it was being served.

Charges and bond amounts are: Byron Howard, trafficking crack cocaine, $250,000; Allen Howard, selling crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of government housing and possession of crack cocaine, $300,000; Hatchet, two counts of selling crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of government housing, $500,000; Brown, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, $100,000; Marshall, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell and on a felony warrant for two counts of forgery, $150,000 and $5,000; Farrow, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a probation absconder warrant from Cape Girardeau, $102,500; White, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, $100,000.

All the subjects are believed to be Sikeston residents except Farrow who is believed to be from the Cape Girardeau area.
