Christopher Lee Sanders
MOREHOUSE - Christopher "Chris" Lee Sanders, 23, died at 8:12 p.m. May 3, 2002, at his home.
Born Sept. 13, 1979, in Charleston, son of Donald Sanders of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Vicky Ogden Stroud of Morehouse, he was a cashier for the Aldi Grocery Store in Sikeston. A 1998 graduate of Bloomfield High School, he attended the Miner Baptist Church.
On June 23, 2001, in Lilbourn, he married Shelley Atchley who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: his stepmother, Joy Sanders of Dyersburg; his stepfather, Chester Stroud of Morehouse; two brothers, Steven Sanders of Morehouse and Kyle Sanders of Dyersburg; one sister, Melissa Sanders of Sikeston; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Linda Sanders of Bloomfield; his maternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Robert and Wanda Ogden of Morley; and his maternal grandmother, Virginia Ogden of Sikeston.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Mitchell Jackson, pastor of the Miner Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
