Harold E. Lee
CHARLESTON - Harold Eugene Lee, 72, died at 10:30 p.m. May 1, 2002, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 15, 1930, at Cape Girardeau, son of the late John Marion Lee and Delia May Sitzes, he was a self-employed construction contractor. Formerly of Benton, he was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Benton and served in the U.S. Air Force.
On Aug. 13, 1955, in Charleston, he married Dorothy Jean Griffith, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Steven Lee of Sikeston and Mark Lee of Charleston; one brother, Charles Lee of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Dorothy Pottinger of Gun Barrel City, Texas, and two granddaughters and one great-grandson.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Unity Baptist Church in Benton with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating.
Burial will follow in the Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton.
