Ruby Sullivan

HAYTI - Ruby Rowena Sullivan, 93, died June 10, 2002, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital Nursing Home.

Born Feb. 7, 1909, in Gipson County, Tenn., daughter of the late Joe and Mable Nethery Burress, she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Hayti.

On June 5, 1932, in Hayti, she married Murray Glen Sullivan who preceded her in death on June 7, 1999.

Survivors include: one son, Murray Sullivan of Sikeston; one daughter, Mary Sue McKay of Hayti; one sister, Monette Talluto of California; one brother, Aubrey Burress of Hot Springs, Ark.; and two grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Eurie Tibe; and three brothers, Harold Burress, Gentry Burress and Edgar Burress.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Hayti.

Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Baker officiating.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers will be: Bobby Mott, Bob Sullivan, Hugh Barnes, Jerry Gurley, Austin McCann and Richard Ashbaugh.
