Erica Reed

AIKEN, S.C. - Erica Dawn Reed, 19, died June 9, 2002, at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital.

Born in Cape Girardeau, Mo., she was the daughter of Mark and Mary Reed of Aiken. She moved to Aiken in 1987 and graduated in 2000 from Aiken High School, where she was a member of the high school band and girls softball team and was a member of Midland Valley First Church of the Nazarene.

Other survivors include: one brother, Andy Reed of Aiken; her paternal grandmother, Kayoko Reed of Aiken; and her maternal grandmother, Mildred Felter of Benton, Mo.

Memorial services were conducted Tuesday at the George Funeral Home with Scott Ostendorf officiating.
