Anna Mae Pobst
ORAN -- Anna Mae Pobst, 78, died at 9:50 a.m. June 29, 2002, at her home.
Born Jan. 16, 1924, at Oran, daughter of the late Robert Patrick and Ada Jane Welsh Harris, she was a cake decorator at Schnuck's bakery in Kirkwood until retiring in 1989 and was a member of the Oran First Baptist Church.
On Feb. 14, 1942, at Oran, she married Earnest Franklin Pobst who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Joe Harris of Fenton and Donald Harris of Oran; two sisters, Wilma Smith of Burton, Mich., and Mary Sagady of Flint, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Rocky Tallent of Southeast Hospice officiated.
Burial followed at Friend Cemetery in Oran.
Pallbearers were: Kory Kluesner, Jake Kluesner, Mike Kluesner, David Harris, Jason Harris and Brad Bowman.
