Charlie Fullerton
DEXTER - Charlie Fullerton, 89, died May 29, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 11, 1913, at Parsons, Tenn., son of the late Clarence E. and Ira Ann Mary Frances Inman Fullerton, he was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Dexter. He was a former employee of the Arlington (Texas) Parks and Recreation Department and a retired farmer.
On Oct. 26, 1935, at Hinchcliff, Miss., he married Beatrice Kirby who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Barbara Lack of Dexter; two brothers, John Fullerton of Burleson, Texas, and Dewain Fullerton of Portageville; two sisters, Earline Smith of Malden and Jeri Oliver of Arlington; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Fullerton, Roy Fullerton and Max Fullerton.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Jimmy Kirby and the Rev. N.A. Haynes, officiating.
Burial will follow in Malden Memorial Park Cemetery.
