Jerry Jarrell
DEXTER - Jerry Jarrell, 65, died May 29, 2002, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center.
Born Sept. 5, 1936, in Dexter, son of the late Raymond Lawrence Jarrell and Jennie Davis Jarrell, he was affiliated with the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter. He worked in the accounting department at the Sikeston Wal-Mart Supercenter.
On June 29, 1974, at Dexter, he married Lula Owens who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Charley Jarrell of Dexter; one daughter, Terri McClintock of Fayetteville, Ark., one stepson, Michael Harmon of Dexter; one stepdaughter, Phyllis Rogers of Dexter; two sisters, Nita Lee Bittner of St. Peters and Mary Lou Schinker of Dexter; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Maurice Raymond Jarrell and John Raymond Jarrell in infancy and Earl M. Jarrell, who died in World War II.
Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Andrew Lovins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery.
