Pauline Finney

Pauline Esterlee Finney, 85, formerly of Bell City, died Jan. 21, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 4, 1918, at Obion, Tenn., daughter of the late Johnny Lee and Pearl Hudson Mobbs, she was a homemaker and member of the Bell City General Baptist Church and Bell City Senior Organization.
On Sept. 4, 1937, at Portageville, she married Raymond "Goob" Finney who preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1974.
Survivors include: two sons, Curtis Lee Finney of Bloomfield and William "Pete" Hudson Finney of Bell City; three daughters, Mildred Gregory of Benton, Geraldine Flanigan of Oran and Deborah Hendrix of Bell City; one brother, Hudson Mobbs of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Margie Lucey of Cape Girardeau; and 25 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
One brother, John Mobbs, preceded her in death.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. today at the General Baptist Church in Bell City. The Rev. Mike Triplett officiated.
Burial followed in the Bell City Cemetery.
