DEXTER - Richard Earl Randolph, 59, died Jan. 1, 2004, at his home.

Born Jan. 30, 1944, at Piggott, Ark., son of the late Donald Eugene and Lona LaVern Holloway Randolph, he was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter. He had been laboratory manager for the Corning (Ark.) Community Hospital from 1979-83 and was laboratory manager from 1983-2002 for Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter where he was named Manager of the Year in 2001. Randolph was a second class petty officer with the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1986-94.

On March 19, 1965, at Piggott, he married Sherry Lee Rogers who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Tammy Lynne Wilcox of Dexter and Cheryl Leigh Edwards of Corning; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ferris Leland Randolph and Donald Lee Randolph.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Second General Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Warren officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
