Your View 7/18: A Letter to a Killer

Thursday, July 18, 2002

Oh my God, what did you do? Don't act like you don't have a clue. How could you just kill someone? Was it for money, or just for fun?

How could you? What were you thinking? Were you high? Or were you drinking? It doesn't matter; now he's gone. Another young black man murdered, What in the world is going on?

I guess you think you've gotten away. You're running around here, happy and gay. But God saw what you did, Just when you thought you were hid.

Don't think everything is all good. Walk around here innocent? I wish you would, Because one more thing you must know, You reap whatever you sow.

God is going to be your jury and your judge. No, don't try to move or even budge. God saw and heart it all, Now you're going to take a fall.
