Gary Howell

MARBLE HILL - Gary Lynn Howell, 38, formerly of Scott City, died at 8:55 p.m. Feb. 12, 2002, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born June 4, 1963, in Farmington, son of LaNelle Ruth Holmes Howell of Scott City and the late Carl Dean Howell Sr., he was a heavy equipment operator and member of Eisleben Lutheran Church.

On July 21, 1997, at Scott City, he married Clara May Cook who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: two brothers, James Howell and Donald Howell of Scott City; and one sister, LeAnna Wright of Commerce.

One brother preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. David Thompson will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
