Glenn Eldridge

CHAFFEE - Glenn Eldridge, 75, died at 12:10 a.m. Feb. 13, 2002, at his home.

Born Dec. 20, 1926, in Chaffee, son of the late John and Ethel Mae Carnell Eldridge, he was a mill superintendent for Cape Grain and CGB in Cape Girardeau before retiring. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church and past master of Masonic Lodge 615 in Chaffee.

On Dec. 20, 1950, he married Mildred Crumbaugh who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Brad Eldridge of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Robin Graham of Chaffee; three brothers, John W. Eldridge and Russell Eldridge of Cape Girardeau and Arthur L. Eldridge of Jackson; one sister, Geneva Proffer of Chaffee; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one son, Keith Eldridge. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where Masonic rites are scheduled for 7 p.m.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Marty Blakey officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.
