Gene Bull

SIKESTON - Eugene C. "Gene" Bull, 49, died at 12:23 a.m. June 16, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Oct. 21, 1952, at Erie, Pa., son of Wilfred E. Bull Sr. of Sarasota, Fla., and the late Elizabeth Jane Black Bull, he had worked in the drywall business before becoming disabled. He was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston and had formerly attended Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church.

On May 15, 2000, in Benton, he married Mary Jones Brewer who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Kenny Rowe of Orchard Park, N.Y.; one stepson, Terry Jones of St. Louis; one stepdaughter, Cheryl Turner of Sikeston; two brothers, Wilfred E. Bull Jr. of Tonawanda, N.Y., and Scott Bull of Sarasota, Fla.; three sisters, Karen Reynolds of Akron, N.Y., Sharon VanOrnum of Hilton, N.Y., and Debra Bull of Erie, Pa.; and four stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with Johnny Hester and Pat Hogan, ministers of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: John McMillen, Chester Bell, David Selvig, Chris Silman, Herb Chappell and Robert Keller.
