MOREHOUSE - Lloyd Dale Callow, 77, died at 11:06 a.m. Nov. 29, 2004, at his home.

Born June 29, 1927, in Vanduser, son of the late Elmer Jackson and Gladys Blanks Callow, he was a self-employed grain farmer. He was a member of the Hooe Baptist Church and Eagles Aerie 4154 in Advance.

On April 7, 1952, at Piggott, Ark., he married Shirley Hoots who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Lisa Mitchem of Advance; two sisters, Mary Bryeans of Poplar Bluff and Ruby Faulconer of Eureka Springs, Ark.; and two grandchildren.

Four brothers preceded him in death.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ed Carter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Advance.

Pallbearers will be: Curtis Faulconer, David Callow, David Callow III, Ladd Callow, Matt Callow and Shane Callow.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Henry Daniel, Richard Mitchem, Leroy McIntyre, Floyd Davis, Dale Holt and Larry Strobel.
