CHARLESTON - Jo Ann Laster Tinker, 63, died Aug. 12, 2004, at her home.

Born June 1, 1941, in Charleston, daughter of the late Herman H. and Goldie Groves Laster, she had lived in Charleston her entire life, where she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

On June 6, 1986, she married Leo Doyle Tinker, who preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 1999.

Survivors include: three brothers, John Laster of Charleston and Albert Laster and Julius Laster of Bertrand; and four sisters, Ruby Wyatt of Troy, Ill., Ida E. Hunsperger of Warrenton, Rosetta Christian of St. Louis and Mary Martin of Cedar Hill.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Laster; and one sister, Reba Laster McClure.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Saturday until service time at 11 a.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Whittington, Eddy Stockman, Richard Bell, Kenny George, Danny Harris and Chris Hall.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Ray Parker, Harvey Jackson and E. Paul Jackson.
