Jack Morse
CASCADIA, Ore. - Jackie Eugene "Jack" Morse, 68, formerly of Parma, Mo., died June 18, 2002, at his home.
Born Oct. 28, 1933, in Madras County, Mo., son of the late LeRoy A. and Ruby Alma Cummings Morse, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a past member of the American Legion. He had been a farmhand, a logger for the Bond Logging Company, a brick mason, carpenter and plumber.
On Sept. 4, 1970, at Sweet Home, he married Kay Morse who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Sharla Wells of Sweet Home, Rebecca Morse of Cascadia and Lisa Hayworth of Dallas; one son, Rockie E.W. Morse of Cascadia; two stepsons, Robbie Lee Blevins of Albany and James Charles Northern of Cascadia; two sisters, Arlene Neal of Lebanon and Peggy Rodriguez of Parma; and 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Workman and Steckly Funeral Chapel.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Cascadia Bible Church with Gordon Moritz, pastor, officiating.
