Carl Brant

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Carl Edward Brant, 49, died at 3:14 p.m. June 20, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Born Feb. 20, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, son of Clarence J. Brant and Aileen Mae Redpath Brant Tuschoff of Scott City, he was an assembly line packer for Manpower. He was a member of the Cape Girardeau Eagles Club and Jaycee Golf Club.

Survivors in addition to his parents include: his stepmother, Virgie Brant of Scott City; his stepfather, Hilbert Tuschoff of Scott City; two brothers, Clarence "Bruno" Brant of Blue Springs and Terry Brant of Council Grove, Kan.; and two half sisters, Donna Tuschoff of Arnold and Elaine Heuring of Scott City.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at 3 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Rennie Phillips will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Norman Brant, Larry Davis, Tony Mullins, Jack Snyder, Ray Jones and Jeff Poole.
