Holland Niederstadt

DEXTER - Holland A. Niederstadt, 79, died July 16, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.

Born Nov. 2, 1922, in Fifty Six, Ark., son of the late Arthur and Laura Peters Niederstadt, he was a lifelong resident of Dexter and retired as a heavy equipment operator.

On May 28, 1964, in Bloomfield, he married Doris Irene Ham who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Laura Jones of Baltimore, Md.; one stepdaughter, Brenda Randall of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; two stepsons, Bruce Dodd of Lakeland, Fla., and Brad Dodd of Dexter; one sister, Sue Wismer of Savannah, Tenn.; one stepbrother, Bill Knight of Lowndes; and 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Barbara Cullum; and one brother, Chester Niederstadt.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Friday until service time at 1 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
