Catherine Coopwood
WILSON CITY - Catherine Coopwood, 73, died July 12, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born May 7, 1929, in Lenox, Ky., daughter of the late John and Willie Perry, she lived in Missouri since the early 1950s. She was a member of Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Wyatt, where she was a member of the choir and Mother's Board.
Her husband, Alfreda Coopwood, preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by one son and one daughter.
Survivors include: one son, Ray Robinson of Mound City; four daughters, Armentha Coopwood and Twala Blackmon of Benton Harbor, Mich., Alfredia Farr of Milwaukee, Wis., and Sylvia Coopwood of Charleston; one sister, Rudell Howlin of Kalamazoo, Mich.; one brother, Otis Perry of Kalamazoo; and 23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. Friday until service time at 1 p.m. at Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. T.R. Tyus, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
