Gerry Presson

GEORGETOWN, Texas - Gerald Dale "Gerry" Presson, 56, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died April 25, 2002, at his home.

Born Nov. 27, 1945, in St. Louis, son of Marjorie R. Horton Presson of East Prairie and the late Lowell Wayne Presson, he lived in St. Louis before moving 17 years ago to Georgetown, where he was a regional account manager for Celestica Electronics. He was veteran of the United States Navy.

On June 3, 1972, he married Cheryl Hurley Presson who preceded him in death on Feb. 2, 1976.

He and Debbie Parker Presson were married Feb. 14, 1981, and she survives of Denver, Colo.

Also surviving are one son, Nicklas Wayne Presson of Denver; and one brother, Danny Presson of East Prairie.

He was preceded in death by one son, Neil Thomas Presson.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with George White officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
