Amanda Robinson

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Amanda Robinson, 17, died April 25, 2002, at her home.

Born July 23, 1984, in Chaffee, daughter of Jimmy and Connie Robinson of Oran and Lisa Walls of Benton, she had attended Kelly High School and was employed by Blimpie's Subs and Salads Shop in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors in addition to her parents include: one half brother, Layne Robinson of Oran; her maternal grandfather, Donnie Walls of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, Danny and Bell Robinson of Sikeston and Bonita Miller of Matthews; and her paternal great-grandmother, Evaline Reed of Matthews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Janie Walls; and her paternal grandfather, Harold Miller.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dale Huff will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Daniel Thompson, Michael Romaz, Lance Scheffer, Creg Duncan, Nathan Beck and Sean Taylor.
