SIKESTON - The City of Sikeston will begin its spraying operation today for mosquitoes.
The spraying will begin at approximately 6 p.m. and continue until approximately one-third of the town is covered. This will continue Wednesday and Thursday until all of the town is covered.
The spraying program will continue weekly as long as there is a problem with mosquitoes. The product utilized is designed for spray use and will not harm yards, gardens, pets or people when applied in this manner, city officials stated.
