Wilma Rayburn

ARNOLD - Wilma Lee Rayburn, 55, formerly of Sikeston, died Sept. 2, 2002, at her home.

Born Nov. 18, 1946, in Essex, daughter of the late Eli Franklin and Ida Fields Payne, she was a nurse aide at Missouri Delta Medical Center and lived in Sikeston for 35 years before moving to Arnold in April.

On Nov. 19, 1962, in Charleston, she married David Eugene Rayburn who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Harold David Rayburn of Valley Park, Carl Allen Rayburn of Sikeston and Charles Joseph Rayburn of Exeter; one daughter, Shirley Kay Powers of Florissant; two brothers, Freddie Payne of Eureka and James Payne of Exeter; three sisters, Jewell Hinshaw of Fenton and Mary Edna Payne and Bessie Purler of Exeter; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Loyd Latham of Sikeston will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
